Day 1: Dust Cobwebs

Welcome to day 1 of my ‘31 Days of Deep Cleaning Your Home‘ series! I mentioned in yesterday’s post that we are going to start from the top and work our way down.
Today’s task is to dust those cobwebs.

BEFORE
The easiest way to do this is to use your brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. If you don’t have a brush attachment, you can always use a feather duster or Swiffer type duster to wipe them down. You can even use a damp microfiber cloth and wipe them away. To reach those tall corners of your ceiling, you can wrap a microfiber cloth around a broom, secure it with some tape or a rubber band and use that to wipe down the corners.

Sensodyne® True White® delivers sensitivity relief and whiter teeth in a low abrasion formula with 2x daily brushing.

AFTER
Don’t forget to check the corners of your room all the way down to the floor. (I found a few cobwebs sneaking around there.)

AFTER:

If you have extra time (or not too many cobwebs), dust the tops of picture frames, mirrors, etc. that are hanging on the walls. And, since you already have your vacuum out, you can dust along the top of the door frames. This doesn’t take very long to do!
Remember, if you are feeling overwhelmed or you don’t have much time to devote to this task today, just focus on the dirtiest or most used rooms in your home.
